After-Hour Emergency Services For Select Nights & Weekends

Monthly On-Call Schedule

 

 

This service is for all after-hour treatment, hospitalization and immediate care. Our goal is to provide care for your pet even after we have closed. If you have an emergency after-hours, please call our main number (334) 297-1050 and you will be connected directly to our on-call veterinarian.

 

If an emergency should arise on a night or weekend when our on-call veterinarian is not available, you will need to contact another emergency service listed under the "After-hour Emergency Referral" Tab or click on the link below:

 

After-hour Emergency Referral

The Following is a List of Symptoms Requiring Emergency After-Hour Care:

  • Difficulty Breathing, Blue Tounge or Raspy Breath Sounds
  • Swollen or Distended Abdomen, with or without Productive Vomiting
  • Inability to Urinate or Deficate, Especially if Straining
  • Ingestion of Toxins (BRING THE CONTAINER WITH YOU!)
  • Traumas such as Being Hit By a Car, Falling From a Height or Experiencing Blunt Force Trauma
  • Collapse or Inability to Stand or Walk
  • Loss of Balance or Consciousness, Convulsions or Seizure Activity
  • Penetrating Wound, Such as Bite Wounds, Gunshots or Stab Wounds
  • Bleeding That Does Not Stop Within 5 Minutes (Apply Pressure Using a Clean Cloth While on your way).
  • Vomiting or Diarrhea with Blood
  • Heatstroke: Heavy Panting, Weakness or Temperature Greater than 104 degrees
