Located in Smiths Station, Smiths Station Animal Hospital offers pet boarding for cats and dogs so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.
At Smiths Station Animal Hospital, we know the importance of finding the perfect boarding facility. We are dedicated to making your pet's vacation as comfortable and satisfying as possible and we promise to take care of your furry friend as if they were our own.
Our feline friends stay in our quiet and isolated cat ward complete with cat condos. These multi-level condos contain locking litter boxes, elevated resting perches, and side and floor portals to allow movement between condos. A large open window provides plenty of natural light and an outdoor view from the condos.
Our large and diverse boarding facility is climate controlled for your pet's comfort. Our kennel room has many large individual runs to accommodate larger dogs. Each run has a fold-down raised bench seat and swing gate with locking food and water bowls to prevent spilling. Our small dog ward has many stainless steel kennels, each with raised platforms to keep your pet comfortable and cozy during his or her stay.
To make your pet's stay as comfortable as possible, feel free to send them with their favorite treats, toys, or bedding.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday (after-hours pickup may be arranged in advance in special circumstances).
Our Boarding Requirements
Our boarding requirement are as follows:
- Dogs must be current on their distemper, rabies, Bordetella, and parvovirus vaccines
- Cats must be current on their distemper (FVRCP) and rabies vaccines
- All boarders must provide proof that they are free from parasites – internal or external
We feed Hill's Science Diet foods to all boarded pets unless you provide us with a different food for your pet.
